Take me out : Scam Show

7/2/2017

Picture
Too much have been said about "Take me out" the Lebanese version, maybe the attack from a certain channel was the talk of the town or because of the ethics of the show but later on it appeared to be because of the ratings. So what's the secret ingredient of getting so much viewing?
The secret ingredient, which is very simple and in the same time unrecognizable, is a combination of having series of eccentric guests who are cast (film & show term) specifically for such a show these guests are real people, other examples are  professional promoters like Joe who went with Riwa, the other kind is the ones like the old guy who went out with Layla who's, in fact, an actor on NewTV with Daad Rizk , and finally the Lebanese/Arab celebrities of B or C class level actors or performers who are searching for exposure like El Hakim twins who have been away from the scene for quite a while.

Now talking about the ladies where the real scam takes place and the brilliant touch of Rola Saad where she made a brilliant research through social media either Facebook or Instagram, she made quite the effort to dig up these chicks from all over the country right? Well don't get over hyped the fact is that Rola Saad brought a collection of sweet ladies from all over the social media (the new platform for being noticed) the listing goes as follows with the number of their followers (Instagram only) Facebook you are free to check them: Alexandra(9 K), Christelle(48 K),
Dayane (50 K), Elsy (7 K), Jessy (11 K), Joanne ( 23 K)
 Joe-Anna (31K), Maria (7K), Nancy (5.9K),Nawal (15K),Riwa (11 K), Pamela ( 41 K), Patricia (15 K)
Yvonna ( 31 K), Epaula (18 K), Maribelle (11 K), Melissa (11.5 K), Khouloud ( 7.6 K), Vanessa(32K), Marissa(4K), so please Ms. Rola Saad don't insult our intelligence and try to convince us that this is another reality show where "Boy meets girl" and they might hook up. This show I've watched from the start till the finale and when I saw the results for the three final contenders: Joe, old guy, & Richard who are all known to the media from a promoter, actor to employee in a known journal and even known by most of the ladies.

With due respect to Lebanese people, Rola Saad & LBCI knew where to hit the cord when it came to this
show, they used a combination of social media stunts as mentioned before, most importantly they attacked the libido of the Lebanese male or any male for that matter, the superficiality of our community when it comes to releasing controversial shows. They played on the taboo factor when the attention of the media was directed against the show's excessive use of implied sexuality. This supposedly negative attention gave the show more audience they didn't even have which made Take me out a huge hit, true that it originated in Europe but there they do it in a professional manner and produce a more authentic program where there is an application form (http://www.itv.com/takemeout/apply-for-the-next-series) for boys & girls and accordingly, they join, in Lebanon, it's done through casting the production team. The show finished and made it big and also the ladies got the additional following this is it, it's the end there will be nothing new if it returns for a second season even if Rola Saad casts new girls they will be probably already known on social media.
